Wagon wheels are used for railway freight car bogies, with a travel speed of up to 120km/h and wheel load. Wagon wheels typically use tread brakes.
There are generally two types of manufacture, casting and rolling. Castings use basin wheel webs. For rolling, the web is usually S-shaped.
Wheels are manufactured to TB/T 2817, AAR M-107/208, BS 5892-3 and EN 13262 standards.
